How do we do it?

A percentage of donations is set aside for Humanitarian aid. Teêbo volunteers and staff in the capital city of Ouagadougou are in communication with the surrounding villages in order to discover their needs and purchase the appropriate items for each visit.

Why do we do it?

As of 2009, 46.7% of the population lives below the poverty line.  In 2011, a severe drought destroyed grazing lands and greatly reduced harvests. These facts show that help is needed, and Jesus’ words call us to respond, “For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.” (Matt 25:35 NLT)
